Woman Slumps, Dies In Niger Governor’s Offi



A 46 year-old woman, Hajiya Bilkisu Mahmoud, who until her death, retired from the State Civil Service three years ago and a staff of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency.slumped and died in the office of the Niger State Governor, Muazu Aliyu on Monday.
information reaching iam 9ja explains that the woman, a mother of three, had waited several hours to see the Governor, but was denied access to see him because he was said to have a lot of files to treat due to the New Year break.
She was later allowed to see the Governor after much pleading and while in the Governor’s Office she slumped and died.
The woman who was suspected to be asthmatic was immediately rushed to the Minna General Hospital where doctors confirmed her dead.
The State Government is yet to release an official statement on the situation.
